The I.R.I.S. Business Card Reader II,

Converts Business Cards Into Electronic Address Books

Delray Beach, FL – July. 2003 – I.R.I.S. (Euronext Brussels: IRI) announces the availability of the I.R.I.S. Business Card Reader II (IBCR) for Windows. The IBCR II transforms business cards into a contact database.

It combines a portable 600 dpi color scanner (connects to the USB port) with Cardiris 3.0, a business card organizer. Cardiris recognizes business cards from up to 50 countries. The software allows you to share contacts from contact managers, databases, PIMs, spreadsheets and word processors. You can also exchange data with your PC, Pocket PC or Palm handheld computers.

It’s great for tradeshows, meetings, conferences. It also generates labels for easy follow-up mailings. You can also use your IBCR II to scan photos.

Features include:

Automatic orientation, deskewing and cropping
* Drag-and-drop names, e-mails and web sites
* Scan, store and display in color, grayscale and black-and-white.
* Hyper-linked e-mail and web addresses
* Directly prints address lists and labels (all popular label formats are supported).
* Synchronizes with Microsoft Outlook, Symantec Act!, LotusNotes and GoldMine.

The IBCR II is available in retail outlets (MSRP: $169.99) and at www.irisusa.com.
